MELIS
Melis winery was founded by Abele Melis (born 1936), a lifelong winemaker and one of Terralba's own. Cultivating 6 vineyards covering a total of 30 hectares, Abele is the man behind our wine- producing business. The vines we cultivate are the traditional varieties found in Terralba: BOVALE, BOVALE SARDO and VERMENTINO as well as CANNONAU, MALVASIA SARDA and MOSCATO. In addition to these, we also produce Sangiovese and Chardonnay wines. Our mission is to produce wines to intrigue and excite seasoned wine lovers; wines that truly represent Terralba's character. To help us achieve this, we invest in the best possible winery technology and are committed to respecting the grapes that Abele and his vineyards produce.
